Home Farm lies next to its farmland within the village of Moreton Pinkney, on the southern edge of beautiful Northamptonshire – Rose of the Shires.
A traditional working sheep and mushroom farm, Home Farm runs a flock of 270 breeding north country mules. Mushrooms are produced year-round, growing mainly brown chestnut mushrooms which are sold at farmers' markets, local farm shops and are supplied to good local pubs for use in their restaurants.
In addition, local breeds of laying hens are kept for their various beautiful shades of dark brown and blue/green eggs – free range, and spending all day out on grass fields. These can be enjoyed by Cottage guests, along with our tasty mushrooms!
Every effort is made to make our guests’ stay as comfortable as possible. The village offers a very peaceful setting in which to enjoy a quiet break away from it all, or a welcome retreat for those business visitors alike.
We are an ideal base for exploring by car, walking or cycling. Many ideas of places to visit can be found on our Attractions page.
