Welcome...
Home Farm sits next to its farmland within the village of Moreton Pinkney, on the southern edge of the beautiful county of Northamptonshire – Rose of the Shires.
A traditional working sheep and mushroom farm, Home Farm runs a flock of 300 breeding North Country mules which are lambed in March. Mushrooms are produced year-round, growing mainly brown chestnut mushrooms which are sold at farmers markets, local farm shops and are supplied to good local pubs in their restaurants.
In addition, Burford Brown and Cotswold Legbar laying chickens are kept for their beautiful dark brown and duck egg blue-shelled eggs, which are used in our own kitchen and are also very popular on the farmers markets.
Every effort is made to make guests’ stay as comfortable as possible. The village offers a very peaceful setting in which to enjoy a quiet break away from it all, or a welcome retreat for those business visitors alike.
We are an ideal base for exploring by car, walking or cycling, with places of interest listed in Attractions.
Although situated in the heart of the countryside, Home Farm is within easy reach of the M40 (8 miles) and M1 (12 miles). Nearest rail link is Banbury (11 miles), with trains approximately every 20 minutes to either London Marylebone or Paddington. Birmingham International Airport is 48 miles away via the M40.
